Organic nucleating agent
Organic nucleating agent overcomes the problem of inorganic nucleating agent transparency and glossiness difference, and can improve the processing performance of the product. They are generally low molecular weight organic compounds, are mainly fatty carboxylic acid metal compounds, sorbitol benzylidene derivatives, aromatic carboxylic acid metal compounds, organic phosphate and woodiness acid and its derivatives, sodium benzoate and double (para-tertiary butyl benzoate) carboxyl aluminum, etc. This kind of traditional nucleating agent can improve the performance of PP. However, the effect is not ideal, because the price is low, and it is still used in some situations. Aromatic and aliphatic and its salts nucleating agent cheaper price, and improve the rigidity and thermal deformation temperature of polyolefin products etc. But because of its poor compatibility with polymer resin, gave many properties of polyolefin products not play, usually limited to injection molding products and rolled products.
Compared with other organic nucleating agent, modified by organic phosphate compounds products transparency, rigidity, surface hardness and thermal deformation temperature were significantly improved, and good thermal stability, under the condition of high temperature.
