High Efficient MBS Impact Modifier WS-M8 is produced by advanced synthetic resin technoloty. It is composed of acrylic PVC modified graft polyper. Except the futures of ACR201and P-20, it can replace the MBS modifier by whole. The dosage is 90-95% of original formula. It is to improve the resistance to impact strength and processability of PVC products integrated resin.

MBS is a ternary copolymer of Methyl methacrylate (M), Butadiene (B) and Styrene (S), which has a typical nucleo-shell structure. Because its solubility parameter is similar to that of PVC, the thermodynamic compatibility of the two is good, showing that PVC has high impact strength at room temperature or low temperature. And because it is similar to PVC refractive index, it is easy to achieve a uniform refractive index after blending and melting. Therefore, the anti-impact modifier made with MBS for PVC will not affect the transparency of PVC. So MBS is the best material for making transparent products from PVC. On the other hand, due to its good compatibility with PVC, it has high impact resistance at room temperature or low temperature, so it also applies to various products of non-transparency. According to the data, when the MBS resin is added in PVC, the impact strength of the products can be improved, and the cold resistance and processing fluidity of the products can be improved. As a result, MBS has been widely used as PVC anti-impact modifier. In addition, it also has good coloring, can be used in the production of containers, pipes, boards, interior decorative boards and soft products.
