Description of 2-Nitrobenzaldehyde:
2-nitrobenzaldehyde, also known as o-nitrobenzaldehyde, CAS: 552-89-6; It is Pale yellow to yellow crystalline powder. Melting point is 43-44 degree centigrade. Boiling point is 153 degree centigrade (3.1kPa). It will evaporate with steam, have benzaldehyde fragrance. It is soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, slightly soluble in water, flash point >110℃, and violently reacts with pyrrole.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. Combustion generates toxic fumes. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.
Keep container closed when not in use. Keep from contact with oxidizing materials. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Keep containers tightly closed.
